Simple, guided application process
When you apply, we’ll guide you through every step, and you’ll have the chance to review and amend your details before submitting. You can also track your application status along the way.
Depending on the role, we may invite you to a face to face or online interview and undergo a competency-based interview so we can understand your experience and motivations. This will also be a chance for us to give you an overview of the role and what it’s like to work at SNG.

Don’t forget that it’s important to show how well you meet the criteria listed in the advert and job description. Make sure you do this as part of the application, or in your CV, as it will help your chances of being selected for interview.
Yes, we make sure all personal information you provide is protected from unauthorised use.
We'll ask some personal questions (such as gender and age), but this information isn’t given to the recruiting manager. Sensitive information is separated from your application and stored confidentially. We ask for this information simply for monitoring purposes and to make sure we meet our commitment as an equal opportunities employer.

When you apply, you’ll tell us your email address and we'll use this to contact you throughout the online application stages. If you haven't heard from us and you've checked your email and your spam folder, please email careers@sng.org.uk.
If you've been shortlisted for interview, we'll get in touch after the advert close date. You may get a call or an email inviting you to an interview. Either way, we'll always offer you a date and make sure you have all the details you need.
The interview process is about us having a conversation with you to understand how your skills, experience and values meet the needs of the job.
It's also an opportunity for you to make sure the role is right for you too, so feel free to ask questions.
