A legacy that echoes change

The Foyer is an SNG managed scheme on the Isle of Wight which provides a home and support services for young people aged 18 to 30.

Independent Arts, an Isle of Wight based arts charity, received a grant from the SNG #iwill Fund to deliver our Wellbeing Champions Programme.

SNG customer Amy was referred to our Employment and Skills team for support last year. She went for a consultation with the team after experiencing a particularly difficult time at work.

A brand-new home in Loughton, Essex has transformed the life of SNG customer Zubeyde and her family who were previously in temporary accommodation.

Lukas was 19 when he moved into supported housing at the Foyer on the Isle of Wight. The Foyer provides emergency accommodation for young people between 16 and 30, who are at risk of homelessness.

Due to her mental health, Lisa had not opened her post since moving into the property and had not paid attention to her finances.

The Somerford Alliance Resource Centre (ARC) is the community centre at the heart of Somerford Estate, Christchurch, providing activities and services to the local community.

Having experienced what it’s like to be homeless, Matt wanted to help others by pursuing a career in support work. 

A play space at Hookes Way in Newport has had a new lease of life after it was redesigned and redeveloped for local residents.

We’ve signed up to the Housing Diversity Network’s (HDN) mentoring scheme. It works by matching people from several housing associations who are at different stages in their career.
