Problem tenant evicted from Blandford Forum property
A tenant who made their neighbours lives a misery has been evicted from a property in Blandford Forum following successful partnership work between SNG and Dorset Police.
The property on Damory Court Street has now been secured and the former tenant and associates have moved on. It’s the culmination of effective collaborative work over the previous 12 months, with the police obtaining a closure order on this property due to the crime, disorder and antisocial behaviour which had been blighting the local community.
Helen Hann, SNG’s Regional Director for Localities – South, commented: “We’re pleased that our successful partnership with Dorset Police has enabled us to take action to secure this property.
“Our priority is to ensure customers can live safely in their communities, free from crime and anti-social behaviour. We will not hesitate to act against individuals who commit offences and cause distress to their neighbours.”
Police Constable Tom Harness, Blandford Neighbourhood Policing Team, said. ”The neighbourhood team would like to thank the community for their patience and continued support whilst this protracted process has taken place.”
