SNG and Vistry celebrate first handovers at Northwick Park with delivery of new affordable homes
The first affordable and private homes have been handed over at the 654-home Northwick Park development in Brent, north-west London, being delivered by SNG and Countryside Partnerships (part of Vistry).
Fifty Shared Ownership homes (marketed as Northwick Parkside) have now been handed over to SNG, marking an important step in meeting the local need for affordable housing. With 35 private homes also completed, the delivery of these new, mixed-tenure homes reflects the partnership’s shared commitment to increasing the diverse supply of new homes in the capital.
Northwick Park is a major regeneration scheme of 654 new homes, with over 50% designated as affordable, creating a vibrant, well-connected neighbourhood with a strong focus on affordable housing, high-quality public realm and enhanced local connectivity.
The wider development will continue to deliver a mix of tenures, including London Affordable Rent, Shared Ownership and additional social rented homes, with further completions expected throughout 2026.
Alongside new homes, Northwick Park has been designed as a connected and accessible place to live. A new public access route linking Northwick Park Playing Fields to Northwick Park Hospital has opened, including a newly delivered footbridge named Proyers Path that significantly improves movement across the site for residents, hospital staff and the wider community.
The development is being delivered through a collaborative partnership between SNG and Vistry Group, combining expertise in large-scale placemaking and affordable housing delivery to create a sustainable new neighbourhood that supports both new and existing communities. The wider masterplan also includes a new children’s play area, a nursery, and commercial units, all of which will be delivered by the end of the build programme to support everyday needs and help establish a new exciting community, as well as benefitting existing residents in the area.
