Volunteers spread festive cheer delivering hampers to customers on the Isle of Wight

Volunteers spread festive cheer to 50 SNG customers and their families on the Isle of Wight by delivering Christmas hampers filled with food and treats for the big day.

Eight SNG colleagues were joined by volunteers from builders’ merchant Jewson, who generously funded the hampers, which were prepared by local charity Aspire. The hampers meant families could cook themselves a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.

Michelle Lockwood, SNG’s Financial and Digital Inclusion Manager, said: “The festive season can be a difficult time for many, especially those experiencing financial hardship. Supporting the wellbeing and quality of life of our customers is a core priority, so it’s fantastic that we can provide delicious food and treats to ensure people don’t miss out at Christmas.

“A huge thank you to Jewson and Aspire for their generous support.”
