Exploring the future of your neighbourhood
Sovereign Network Group (SNG) is a not-for-profit housing association that provides affordable housing across the south of England, and we own a number of homes in Westfield and the surrounding area.
We are looking at potential investment opportunities for the future of the Westfield neighbourhood, and we’d like you to have your say and be involved in shaping this exciting opportunity. As part of our commitment to improving homes, public spaces, and community wellbeing, we’re exploring the potential for future improvements in Westfield.
Why are we looking at opportunities to invest in the area?
We want to share ideas to improve the quality of life for all who live there.
We’re finding that the homes we own are not energy efficient and are difficult to maintain, so we’re looking at how we can improve this and the wider neighbourhood.
We started consulting local residents in November last year and want to continue the conversation about how the area could benefit from investment.

Having reviewed the feedback and listened to residents’ thoughts and priorities, we’re in the early stages of exploring options to redevelop an area of Harwell where we own many of the homes so we can deliver new affordable properties that are compliant with modern building standards and energy regulations, more energy-efficient and cheaper to run for the people living there.
We haven’t made any final decisions, but at this stage we’ve identified an area that is a proposed place for redevelopment.

We believe that the people who know the area best - its residents - should help shape its future. We’re committed to working with you from the very beginning. Your ideas, concerns, and hopes will guide the process, making sure that any potential changes reflect what matters most to you.
We held a drop-in session on Thursday 19 March to talk with the local community about proposed redevelopment and what it could mean for the future of the neighbourhood.
