Congratulations on your new home, built by YTL
Brabazon is part of an exciting new urban quarter in Bristol, which will deliver new homes, a train station, a local social hub in an historic hangar, workspaces, a new arena for music, schools and shops. You can find more information about what’s planned here.
As well as the detailed home user guide that you’ll receive from YTL, there's lots of useful information and tips on these pages that will help you to learn about and live in your new home.
Please note that there's a strong design code to make sure the scheme looks great, and this means that you can’t make any alterations to the front of your home.
There are also strict parking restrictions at Brabazon, and you will only be able to park vehicles in your allocated spaces; there is no on-street parking available. Please read through the restrictive covenants to make sure you understand the rules set by YTL across the development.
Close to shops at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, and to existing services at Filton, Brabazon will also deliver lots of new amenities. You can find out more about what is proposed on the Brabazon website .
Shops and amenities
Brabazon is an exciting new strategic development site which will deliver lots of new services and amenities, including schools, shops, entertainment spaces and employment opportunities. But this will take time to come forward.
There are lots of existing services which you can benefit from in the meantime, with an extensive range of shops, leisure opportunities and restaurants at Cribbs Causeway.
There's a supermarket close to Brabazon at Hayes Way, and other supermarkets across Cribbs Causeway.
There is a bus station at Cribbs Causeway, with buses taking you across the city and further afield.
In the community
Filton Hill Primary School and Charlton Wood Primary Academy School are both about a 15-minute walk from the development. Abbeywood Community School, Blaise High School and the Orchard School offer secondary education close by.
Patchway Community Centre is close by and offers a range of activities and clubs, and The Hangar will offer a new community hub for the Brabazon development.
Doctors' surgeries can be found in Patchway and Filton.
SNG own your home, but the wider development is owned and managed by YTL. They will be responsible for managing the open space, landscaping and parking across the development.
Please note that there is no on-street parking allowed at Brabazon; you are only allowed to park in your designated parking spaces or in the separate off-road car parks as advised.
For the first 12 months, any defects in your home will be passed back to YTL to rectify, although you should report them to us at SNG in the first instance.
