Cross-Cultural Gatherings, St Anne's House
With a grant from our ConnectED Communities fund, we support St Anne’s House to host cross-cultural gatherings in Bristol. Refugee and asylum seeker communities lead on these events locally and they are a chance for these communities to feel confident and connected, forge meaningful relationships and to share and celebrate their cultures. Everyone is welcome and shared meals and creativity create a joyful space for all. You can click here to find out more about St Anne’s House and their next events.
Connected Roma Community by The Roma Group
Through our ConnectED Communities fund, we support The Roma Group with their work in the Bristol Roma Community. They encourage community leaders to take the lead in co-designing and co-delivering local support services for the Roma community. With trained Roma community officers, they offer advocacy, housing advice, employment advice, support with health appointments and translation services. They bring the community together in community spirit through breakfast mornings and shared learning.
Monday Club, BS3 Community Development
A weekly social lunch club for older people at the Southville Centre. Each session includes hot drinks, a two-course lunch from the on-site café, and a different activity each week.
It’s a welcoming space to connect with others and reduce feelings of isolation. Newcomers are always welcome.

Brew & Boogie – A Community Tea Dance
Part of Loneliness Awareness Week, this tea dance brings people together for music, conversation and connection in a relaxed setting. The afternoon features live jazz and swing music from the Barrel House Vipers, with gentle dance instruction suitable for all abilities.
Inspired by traditional tea dances, the event is aimed at people aged 50 and over. Whether you want to dance or simply enjoy the atmosphere, everyone is welcome.

Cultural Connections at The Strand Centre
Through our ConnectED Communities fund, we support the delivery of Cultural Connections activities at The Strand Centre in Dawlish. This includes inclusive, creative activities and community events for people from different cultural backgrounds. The project uses arts‑based and social activities to bring people together, celebrate cultural diversity and encourage meaningful connections, helping to reduce isolation and build stronger, more connected communities in a welcoming and accessible local space. Queer Nature Club South West: Dorset Banner Project by Social Material CIC
Through our ConnectED Communities fund, we support the Queer Nature Club South West to deliver a programme of accessible nature-based wellbeing activities by and for LGBTQ+ communities in the South West, particularly those with mental health challenges. Ware carers support hub
We've commissioned Carers in Hertfordshire to host a monthly free Carers Hub, bringing together carers of all ages to have a chat over some refreshments and learn more about a number of valuable support services. If you're an unpaid carer for family or friends, you can come along to meet with carer support advisors who can provide one-to-one information and guidance to help you with your caring role. You can learn more about debt advice, employment and training support, bereavement counselling and much more.

Over 50s Community Circus Showcase by Generation Circus
We’ve supported Generation Circus through our ConnectED Communities fund to deliver their Over 50s Community Circus Showcase in Hertford, a community showcase for people aged 50 and over. The project encourages older people to stay active and socially connected through inclusive, fun circus activities, helping to improve physical wellbeing, confidence and mental health, while bringing communities together to celebrate participants’ achievements. Bereavement Café, Hertford – Monthly
The Bereavement Café is a free, informal monthly drop-in for adults to connect, share experiences, and find support after loss. Run by friendly local volunteers from Holy Trinity Church, Bengeo, it offers a safe space to talk openly or simply enjoy a tea or coffee. Open to anyone who has lost a loved one, no matter how long ago.
Bengeo Bereavement Café
The Bereavement Café runs twice-monthly at Bengeo in Hertford, every first Wednesday afternoon of the month from 2.30pm to 4pm and every third Thursday evening of the month from 6.30pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome to attend, from across the district and wherever you live. You can find then at The Secret Garden Tea Room, 89 The Avenue, Hertford SG14 3DU.
Free Hertfordshire Health Walks – Ongoing
Live in Hertfordshire and want to walk more? Join Hertfordshire County Council’s free, friendly, and safe guided health walks. Walking improves fitness, mood, and strength, and with 75 weekly walks across the county, there’s plenty of choice!
No booking needed—just arrive 10 minutes early (15 minutes for first timers) or register online. Walks range from gentle First Steps (20–30 mins) to Grade 4 (90 mins).

Free Women’s Boxing Group, Hertford, Every Friday at 6pm
Future Living , a charity dedicated to supporting women, men and children affected by domestic abuse, run a free weekly boxing group for women in Hertford. This is a friendly and encouraging group where women can let off some steam and build confidence!
The group runs every Friday in Hertford from 6pm to 7pm and is led by a highly experienced coach.

Local Social are a community organisation who seek to bring people and neighbourhoods living in Ware together. Their weekly coffee meetings take place at the following locations:

Back on Track by Track Academy – Brent
We support athletics, education and mentoring charity Track Academy through our ConnectED Communities fund to deliver their Back on Track series for young people. This programme provides study support, 1-2-1 mentoring and life skills workshops. It’s a safe space for young people to build confidence and skills and to tackle educational inequality. Family Heritage Crafts by Cultural Fashion & Arts – Hackney
We support Cultural Fashion and Arts through our ConnectED Communities fund to deliver their Family Heritage Crafts project, which delivers creative heritage‑based arts and crafts activities for families from diverse backgrounds in Hackney and Homerton. The project brings families together to share, celebrate and learn about different cultures and traditions through hands‑on creative workshops, helping to improve wellbeing, strengthen community connections and build pride in cultural identity. Activities are designed to be inclusive and accessible, creating welcoming spaces where people of all ages can connect and feel a sense of belonging. Diversity in Dance by Black in the Ballroom CIC – London
With a grant from our ConnectED Communities fund, we’ve supported Black in the Ballroom CIC to deliver their Diversity in Dance classes, free Ballroom and Latin dance classes for Black children and young people aged 4 to 18 across South East London. Shared Tables, Shared Stories by Sunah Crisis Team CIC – Willesden, London
Our ConnectED Communities fund supports the Sunah Crisis Team CIC to deliver their Shared Tables, Shared Stories project, a six week programme of weekly community meals and storytelling events for people from diverse and marginalised backgrounds in Brent. The project brings people together over shared meals to reduce isolation, encourage cultural exchange and build understanding between communities. Activities for young people, Harlesden, Mondays and Thursdays
The Harlesden-based youth charity United Borders are hosting free drop-in activity sessions every Monday and Thursday. Young people can visit their buses parked in various locations Harlesden and take part in lots of activities, ranging from music production and gaming sessions to mentoring sessions and employment support.

Reclaim your power workshop by Ignite Your Power CIC – Basingstoke
We support Ignite Your Power CIC through our ConnectED Communities fund to deliver workshops to girls and woman to empower them with practical safety skills, confidence and community connection. The workshops cover personal safety awareness, practical self-defence techniques, resilience and peer support. SNG Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) community event in Witney, 1 July 11am to 3pm
On Wednesday 1 July 2026 from 11am to 3pm at the Witney Corn Exchange, we're hosting an event as part of ASB Awareness Week. The event will provide local residents with an opportunity to meet face-to-face with housing providers and Thames Valley Police to talk openly about ASB in their neighbourhoods. You're encouraged to share your concerns, highlight areas for improvement, and contribute ideas on how communities, housing providers, and partners can work together to reduce ASB and make local areas feel safer.
This event is a chance for you to meet and get to know your local Locality and ASB officers, understand how you can access support, and learn more about how ASB is managed in your area. You can also learn more about the additional support available to you including employment and skills support and financial and digital inclusion support.
No need to register or sign up- please just pop by on the day anytime between 11am and 3pm!
The Breakthrough project by Beat the Block CIC
We support Beat the Block CIC through our ConnectED Communities fund to deliver their empowerment workshop series, The Breakthrough Project, which delivers targeted prevention and education for girls aged 10 to 15. Led by female athlete mentors and run in schools in the Vale of White Horse, workshops use creative activities (identity bingo, reflection, discussion) to create inclusive spaces for girls to build confidence and aspirations free from discrimination, while celebrating diverse cultures and identities. Shout! LGBT Youth Club by Didcot TRAIN – Wallingford
We support TRAIN, the only youth charity in Wallingford through our ConnectED Communities fund to deliver their Shout! Programme providing weekly sessions to LGBTQ+ young people. The sessions provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ young people to connect with peers, access affirming support and reduce feelings of loneliness. You can find out more about TRAIN here.
Ready, Set, Roll, Beginners and Juniors by Swindon Shock Wheelchair Basketball Club
