How can we help?
- One-to-one, expert advice: Our dedicated team of debt advisors provide regulated, impartial and confidential one-to-one debt advice for you, that’s tailored to your situation.
- Budgeting: We can help you manage rent and household bills, reduce spending, maximise income, and provide a realistic budget so you can avoid further debt.
- Grants and funding: There are many grants and pots of funding available, and we can help you access financial support to reduce your debt. Alternatively, explore the financial support available yourself, using Lighting Reach.
- Signposting: If you're looking for further information about debt solutions, we can signpost you to trusted organisations and resources that are right for you.
- Advocate: We can work on your behalf, contacting creditors and agencies you owe and liaise with them to figure out a way forward.
- Referrals: We can refer you to SNG’s other support services for help with things like employment and training, accessing the right benefits and improving digital skills.
- Confidentiality: We understand that discussing your financial struggles can be sensitive. Rest assured that your interactions with us are confidential, and we only disclose information when we have your consent to do so. We've partnered with Lightning Reach - a one-stop-shop for our customers to receive financial support. On this platform you can search for grants, benefits, help with bills and local schemes you might be eligible for from multiple providers, and also make a referral to our Debt Advice Service.
